The cutting-edge STIGA Tornado 9121 W is an impressive lawn-maintenance workhorse designed to make the coverage of expansive grassed areas fast and hassle-free!

Amongst the numerous premium features is the STIGA ST 650 engine; a high-performance 635 cc engine, which, thanks to its Twin, overhead-valve design, offers smooth, low-vibration operation, increased torque-output and superior fuel-efficiency.

A two-stage air-filter combines with full-pressure lubrication to minimize component wear and maximize engine life; while a very large-capacity petrol tank (15 litres) - accessed via a handy external filler-cap - lessens downtime by reducing the number and frequency of refuelling stops. The Tornado 9121 W is capable of handling the sort of challenging terrain that would defeat a lower-specification model.

Benefitting from a smart 5.5" widescreen display that provides clear, easy-to-read information on engine RPM, battery charge, oil level and fuel level, combined with the Best Cutting Zone function to improve cutting performance. It is fitted with a wide 121cm three-blade cutter-deck that is excellent for large areas. STIGA's Best Cutting-Zone function will always let the operator know when achieving the best cutting-performance at the right speed, whatever the terrain and grass type.

The Tornado 9121 W has a pedal-operated hydrostatic transmission; an attractive attribute that gives infinitely variable control of the ground-speed (forward and reverse), which in turn optimizes manoeuvrability making it easier to mow and tow around obstacles.

A cruise-control function means you can lock the forward-speed and give your foot and ankle a rest when required, while LED headlights provide essential illumination should you need to work on into the evening.

The two-in-one Tornado 9121 W is an adaptable tractor that can either side-discharge or mulch clippings, with the former perfect when mowing informal outlying areas and overgrown meadow-grass; and the latter coming into its own on regularly mown formal lawns.

Excelling in terms of comfort and convenience, the Tornado 9121 W has a seat with armrests, a raised soft-grip steering wheel, a cup holder and a storage compartment.

Other stand-out features include deck-mounted wheels that prevent scalping when turning on inclines; a washing link for straightforward under-deck cleaning; and a cast-iron front axle that confers rugged durability. A mulching kit, trailer hitch and battery charger are sold separately.
