The RGA 140 is a powerful battery-powered brushcutter with a reciprocating cutting blade for low spin removal of weeds and grass from a range of surfaces such as gravel, asphalt and paved areas. It’s designed for professional users working in landscaping or grounds maintenance, and thanks to the low spin of the mowing head, it is a great option for users working in areas with windows or obstacles that may be damaged from debris. The RGA 140 is battery powered meaning it has low noise emissions, making it ideal for use in noise sensitive areas too. 

Fitted with a bike handle for comfortable working when taking on mowing jobs. The folding clamp makes it quick and easy to adjust the bike handle to the ergonomic position that suits you. The RGA 140 has a powerful EC motor and speed-adjustment on the control handle, which can be set at 3 different speed levels depending on the type of work you are doing. The air filter on the housing ensures that the engine is kept cool during work, improving the service life of the clearing saw. It’s easy to remove and clean too. The robust cutting blades of the RGA 140 can be sharpened and periodically rotated for even wear. If the blades need to be replaced, a replacement blade kit can be purchased separately. 

The RGA 140 is IPX4 certified, meaning it can be used in all weather conditions. It also has a mounting point for the STIHL Smart Connector 2 A on the power tool housing.

Don’t forget to check your work area for wildlife before starting to use your tool. In particular, you should check for nesting birds before trimming hedges, as well as checking for other small animals such as hedgehogs before trimming long grass.
